Job Description

 

We are currently looking for a social media manager to produce and implement impactful social media content and strategies across platforms (i.e. Instagram and TikTok) to boost growth. This role requires a highly motivated, self-starter who has experience and an aptitude for creating highly engaging content. If you excel in a creative, entrepreneurial setting, have strong graphic and copy skills, and have a strong interest in fashion and our brand’s mission of inclusive fitting eyewear, we want to hear from you!

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Coordination with external partners: Liaise with our social media agency to formulate content calendar, concepts and engaging content strategies across platforms. Liaise also with our digital marketing ad agency and internal counterparts to coordinate social posts that align with planned promotions, campaigns and new product launches. 
  • Internal content creation: Develop, film and execute high-quality, engaging social media content in the form of videos, static posts and carousels for both Instagram & TikTok that reflect our brand value props and aesthetics.
  • Influencer outreach: Outreach to influencers/creators who are aligned with our brand to develop UGC and brand partnerships. Monitor and coordinate timelines, UGC deliverables and messaging with creators.
  • Monitor analytics: regularly monitor KPIs related to content reach and engagement to inform future social content strategies.
  • Community management: monitor and respond to direct messages and comments across social platforms, which may involve product related questions and styling advice.

  • Proven Social Marketing Expertise: You are proficient in filming, video editing, graphics and copy creation and excel at producing eye-catching content. 
  • Creative & Analytical Mindset: You recognize opportunities in content trends, and are skilled at tracking performance and refining strategies for better future results.
  • Entrepreneurial Mentality: You take ownership, work independently, and don’t require hand-holding to make things happen.
  • Strong Communication Skills: You can effectively articulate content strategies and collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
